Within the fifteenth video of this 25-video series on programming a Multus U3000 with TopSolid, I demonstrate programming the rough turn ID of our part.
In the video, you will notice our turning view makes it a lot easier to see what’s going on. In this case, we need to set a limitation point because I don’t want our tool to go all the way through the part. The turning view makes it a lot easier to set this limitation point correctly.
After our proper tool and limitation point has been selected, we create the proper feeds and speeds. Finally, a quick simulation check shows us that we are all set and ready to move to our next operation.
